The Ultimate All Purpose Excuse

Let’s just say I am trying to get of a speeding ticket. Let’s just say. Setting the scenario, it’s like 11:30 at night I am looking for air to add to my rear shocks so the truck will ride a little better. We stop at herds thinking a truck stop would have air.... wrong. So we plan to go to Casey's and get air. I know they have air. But first we have to look at Levis car because he bottomed out just a bit before this. We are looking at his car when I hear the truck door shut. Well then I see its just Jake and I figure he is just sitting in it like any other time. We go back to looking at the car then I hear the truck start and so I get up and give Jake kind of a look. Nothing severer but then again he =isn't real intelligent to notice. I watch him very closely then he puts it in reverse. I start shaking my head no. what does he do? He backs up. So I then stare him down and apparently he does not notice for he just takes off to the road. Levi is telling him to go and I am telling Levi to shut up but it is too late and Jake takes off. The thing I know is that 1 the truck is very sensitive and 2 the blinker will not shut off. I also know that he is in my truck without me. MY truck. I run to Sura's car and him to sit in the passenger seat because I know I am going to speed. This way if I do get pulled over it will be ok because Sura will not be in trouble. Well on my way to catch up I see a cop. I just pull over because I already know.

 

The cop pulls me over and the first question is obviously "do you know why I pulled you over?" my answer is simple "speeding?"

 

He then ask me why I am going so fast so I tell him the truth. "I am trying to catch my truck that was in front of me."

 

He asked me if I had been drinking. What the heck?!?!?

 

Then if the guy in the truck has been drinking. I thought this was a good excuse and the truth as well but it being the cop it was I knew I was screwed from the start. Long story short I get a ticket

Whats In A Name?

My name is Tyler Ray Dill. Where is comes from I do not know 100%. Like my first name my mom says come from a phone book when she was in labor. I am the first kid of my mothers and the oldest of my grandmother’s grandkids. My mom says she knew she was pregnant with me but then why would she be looking in a phone book for a name? Wouldn’t that be something you would have figured out if you knew a kid was on the way? The other reason why I doubt she knew was I was unnoticeable in her belly. Grandma has a picture of my mom at her senior prom and there wasn’t anything in that picture that looked out of the ordinary. She may have known but it was careless none of the less

She also claims to have thought about naming me Taylor after some boy she went to school with she says I remind her lot of him there for I just tell her that maybe she slept with him instead.

My middle name Ray was given to me by my grandma and that woman is crazy so it is unknown as to where she came up with that but it is the same middle name as my uncle so it could have come from him but again she is lost like I am.

My last name is actually my mother’s middle name because my father is a deadbeat and has nothing to do with me. Where my last name originates from I do not know but I have it and I am proud of it. The reason I say my father is a deadbeat is because the only time I have seen him is when I see him at Wal-Mart or something. He has never tried to come see me or pay any child support so I don’t care.

I don’t think I would want a different name. I would say that I feel like a Tyler most times but then again I almost never get called Tyler. All of my friends call me Dill or Pickle or Dill Pickle, I have been called Dill weed, Dildo, Tyler Dill, Will Deed was an interesting one. Never actually Tyler. Hell my grandma even calls me by the wrong name. She calls me Danny all the time which is her son, my uncle. The latest name everyone calls me is Teddy

I live with my name just fine. I like with all of these names without a care in the world. They are just names.

April Fools

When asked to talk about myself it is actually really hard. Everyone says it is easy but not for me. “No one knows yourself like you do” was said. That does not mean anything. What about when I’m hungry and I can’t quite put my finger on what I want? Someone always knows. I love to stand in line at a gas station, have two candy bars and be staring at them trying to decide what one I want. Then I either turn around and ask the person behind me or the person in front of me “peanut M&M’s or Twix?” the look on their face is usually priceless but then it also amazes me how many people won’t answer.

For those of you who don’t know me or know of me, my name is Tyler Ray Dill and I am a senior at Pierce City High School. I am 17 years old my birthday is May 25th  there for I will graduate at 17 years young and begin my life in the  “real world” it’s one of those thing where you can’t wait but then again you know you will miss it. I know for a fact that what I will miss is seeing all the familiar faces such as friends and some teachers. The reason I am ready and I am sure that the reason other kids become so ready could be the chance for independence, the accomplishment, for some it could be no homework. I know these are reasons why I am glad.

My middle name is Ray. I’m not 100% for sure why. I also will say that I stand like 6 foot tall and weigh like 140 pounds soaking wet. This may seem light to you but actually I used to only weigh like 120 till this last 6 months.

More about me is that I love trucks and fast cars. I love trucks fast trucks and big jacked up trucks. I love fast cars but I will also say I am a huge huge huge Chevrolet fan. I love chevy so much I bleed chevy. Bowtie all the way!!!!

I actually have 4 trucks but I only keep 2 of them with tags to drive simply because I am poor. I have a 66 Chevy c10 pick up, I have a 67 Chevy c10 pickup, a 74 c10 pickup and a 86 k20 pick up which has a flatbed on it now I could really go into detail about each one of these trucks and tell you everything I know about these truck and what I wish to do to them but I think it would require way to much work and I only need 500 words. Also if I told you about them and I had a better chance later then it would seem repetitive which is no fun to anybody.

How Old Will I Be?

In ten years I see myself as about the same as I see myself now, working in a mechanic shop. I don’t plan too much for to for in my future but being asked I will do my best. Ten years from now I hope to be financially ready and just thinking about having kids. That may not be how it works though. I also wish to have my green truck ready to restore with my house being paid on have a cheap truck for a daily driver and be independent. I hope this all works out this way but it is unknown like I said. If it were up to me then I would do it mostly like this. But instead of a mechanic I would be finishing up my welding career. I would like to leave high school and weld for right at ten years and then go back to mechanics. Welding would give my financial foundation and mechanics would be what I enjoy on certain days. I probably would prefer to weld my whole life but that is dangerous to my health. I hope to be happy and safe with the woman that is with me and she is calm with me being gone all the time. Welding makes it easy not to have kids. Haha I just realized that. I will be 27 years young.

Some Assembly Required

This summer if I had unlimited funds and I actually knew what I wanted to do in the fall I would start by rebuilding my trucks that I have. I would start with my grandfather’s 66 Chevy pickup. This is where the unlimited funds come in handy. After it has been restored I would start on my camo truck because it is not needed to drive every day which would make it easier. Then I would work on the 74 Chevy pickup that I have and make it my street racer but keep as much original stuff as possible. After that truck is done hen I could start on the old green truck. I would restore it to what it was intended to be when it got built the first time. Once these projects were done summer would be long gone but then it’s still free so I would buy some more projects and get a daily driver to have instead of my green truck
